Haohan Wang is currently a PhD candidate, research assistant in School of Computer Science in Carnegie Mellon University. Before that he received a bachelor degree in computer science in Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
He has a variety of experience software development especially focused on the areas of applied machine learning and data mining.
As a research assistant, his primary focus is to apply machine learning to understand real world data and solve real world problems.
Also, he has experience solving real world problems with Big Data technology including Hadoop/MapReduce, PIG, HIVE.
