I'm a pretty experienced (okay, old) programmer, versed in C/C++/C#, Ruby & Java.
I like what the agile, pragmatic and software craftsmanship movements have contributed to our craft.
Also enjoy working with technologies that just work... with low barriers to entry and learning curves which track the law of diminishing returns on complexity: Sinatra, MongoDB and Heroku come to mind (the three of which, together, make a great rapid web development platform BTW).
Kudos to stackoverflow.com, too... I can't begin to say how many times it's been able to get me "un-stuck" because of the quality of the contributions of the community. I'm just glad to be a part of it.
