Started programming in COBOL many years ago and evolved into being a DBA for Oracle and SQL Server. I now concentrate more on SQL and am currently doing a little .NET programming. Or trying that is.

I get asked enough about my nickname I thought I'd share: The story of the name Grixxly... many years ago my Wife gave me a pair of bear slippers for Christmas as a joke. My very young Nephew, whose pronunciation skills were not that good, said I was a grixxly bear. And so the nickname Grixxly was born. Been using it for 15 years now... Plan on using it for at least 15 more...
