I am currently a graduate student, studying Information Science at the University of North Texas, College of Information.

I am working on an XML standard for educational content that I think will revolutionize education throughout the world and enable anyone, anywhere (even where there is no internet connection) to get a free education all on their own. I call that standard the Distributable Educational Material Markup Language (DEMML). You can learn more about it at [www.demml.net][1].

To that end, I am trying to learn about XML Schema, Java programming, using the HTTP and NNTP protocols, and designing custom protocols.
