Sander studied computer science at the Eindhoven University of Technology. After that, he completed the Software Technology program (OOTI) at the Stan Ackermans Institute. Since 2001 he works as a software engineer. He has worked for Philips, PharmaPartners and is currently working for HighTech ICT.

The biggest part of his career Sander has worked on Java projects. He also has experience with Oracle databases, C#, C, C++ and Z80 assembly.
