=1979. Hardware: My father give me a TI57. Language: similar asm, 7 registers, 50 instructions.
~1980. I read about Pascal. Hardware: pen&paper.
~1985. BASIC (old school, with line numbers stepped by 10...). HW: MSX, output on video, 32K ROM + 32K RAM + 16K VRAM.
~ 1990. TurboPascal, first contact with OOP. HW: 8088 20M HD
~1995. ASM (compiled via TurboPascal). Hacked keyboard driver.
=1997. HW: Quaderno Olivetti 80286, first A5 notebook. Language: MUTT (yes: a LISP dialect... maybe only his creator and I used it :-)
~2000. Ok, must convert to Linux => OH MY GOD!! that means C, bash, awk... Also tried M4, Perl, C++, Lisp.
~2005. HTML, CSS, Javascript. Tried Emacs, converted to Vim
~2010. I fall in love with Python. I cannot live without.
=2012. My first Android phone.
=2013. I learn some Java... well, I learn that I yet learned it when I learned C/C++ ;-)
=2014. Now: Vim, Javascript, Python+ctype+C. But just found Rebol ... yum-yum!.. I'm excited...
