I'm a software engineer at bol.com - the largest online retailer in the Netherlands and Belgium. At bol.com, I'm contributing to the innovation and automation of the processes of the financial department by developing Distributed Big Data Processing Systems on Google Cloud Platform as well as optimizing development process by utilizing and implementing automation tools.

I started coding when I was in high school. Since then I tried to improve my skills in every direction be it front-end or back-end. Working in both the enterprise and startup environments taught me that key points for success are adaptability, teamwork and striving for improvement, thus my philosophies are inspired by these tenets.

I love clean code - starting from the right tool, utilizing design patterns and eliminating technical depth creates clean, beautiful, and self-documenting code. Professionally, writing code for humans and not computers is one of the most engaging challenges in software development. That allows you to communicate your ideas in a structured and easy to understand manner.

Before bol.com I was working at Messente Ltd. - the global provider of messaging and user verification services. I also have experience with enterprise companies such as Apex - one of the leading tech companies in Georgia, specialized in IT business solutions; And Alta Software - leading banking and financial solutions provider in Georgia.

I am an MSc in software engineering from the University of Tartu and the Tallinn University of Technology and BSc from the Free University of Tbilisi.
