I'm a technical expert in the world of Java/J2EE and related technologies. My main interests in software development are frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, ...), libraries (Guava, Apache commons-xxx, ...) and tools (Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, ...) that standardize application code as well as development process, help improve code quality, and allow developers to focus more on business code. I greatly appreciate the Open Source world which I contribute by providing patches for issues and gaps I discover.

I'm strongly focused on code quality, by applying SOLID principles and design patterns to my code, as well as practicing test driven development with tools like JUnit and Mockito as much as possible.

Finally, I'm also interested in self education, through reading books (favorite ones are Clean Code, and Effective Java), and with e-learning platforms like Coursera (http://www.coursera.org). My favorite subjects of study are mathematics, theoretical computer sciences and music.
