Technical writer and software developer. I spent 25 years as a software entrepreneur and developer, after studying Computer Science, specializing in declarative language systems, at UC Santa Cruz in the late 70s. Since then, I've been writing developer documentation, including 20 years of contract writing for Silicon Valley companies such as Apple, Microsoft, Palm, Tivo, and others. From 2013-2020, I was the sole architect and writer of the documentation for Splice Machine, Inc. (splicemachine.com).
I retired from full-time work in Feb. 2020, and I'm currently available for very short-term projects.
I also have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology, and spent more than 15 years working individually and in groups with high tech workers.
