When I'm not programming I'm a huge music lover, creator and nerd. I've been making music since I was a teenager, particularly Alternative/Industrial/Prog/Electronic flavoured pieces. To this end I love bring coding and music together and as such often work on projects like digital audio effects and synthesizers as well as music consumption experiments.

My background in programming comes a conversion course which I completed after music technology undergrad. I worked for about 2 years as a software prototyping engineer with Logitech in Cork where my role was heavily entrenched in the product design and user experience process as well the more technical implementation side of things. One great aspect of Logitech was the requirement to use myriad different techs for different projects and I have variously used Max/Msp, Python, Android, Unity/C#, Arduino and C++ to accomplish my goals. These days I work for a social media startup in Helsinki call Hubchat where I am part of the Android team.
