I'm GAMSD. I have a degree in Computer Science from UFPE (Brazil) and a strong interest in Mathematics. I write software for a living.

Currently, I'm working mostly with Scala programming, using the Lift Framework and MongoDB. Also, some Javascript here and there. Throughout my career, though, I've worked with a range of technologies, including C, Python, C# and ASP.NET, Java, Ruby and, finally, Scala.

In my spare time, I like to play with emerging languages. I'm also interested in functional programming, programming languages theory, type theory and correctness, algorithms and distributed concurrent systems.
