Software engineer with a background in distributed systems, performance, scalability and data plumbing. I'm currently a technical lead for teams working on developer tools and infrastructure for >1500 engs at Schibsted. Prior to that I built distributed virtual networks at Midokura, data infrastructure for telcos at Zhilabs, and backend systems for high volume internet sites (Last.fm, Tuenti.)

I've worked mainly on Linux and the JVM (Java, Scala) including perf. tuning for large JVMs, latency sensitive applications, multiple storage systems, deployed both in bare metal or cloud (AWS). I'm conversant on C/C++, Go, Python and have been deeply involved in testing, packaging, deploying and monitoring complex systems built with combinations of technologies above.
