Started in web applications using a home brewed POJO MVC framework before there was such a thing, pointing to an Oracle db. Then got skilled at the front end with JavaScript, was doing synchronous and asynchronous calls before it was a four letter word.
Got sucked into a big bank, and they loved me for my build automation skills using Ant and my ability to master CVS. At the same time was a main java dev working on a large value transactional system and did a lot of stuff with PDF libraries for showing images and reports of scanned cheques.
Then moved out to the rockies and got stuck in a shop that only recently stopped using FrontPage! Now I'm the only dev here and slowly turning things around, from vb.net to c# and ASP.NET MVC framework.
