I work for a small automation company in Karlskoga, Sweden. We develop a laser sensor to localize items for bin-picking by robots, by 3D object recognition. Before that I was working in computational neuroscience research in Kyoto, Japan for 7 years. I use matlab for prototyping, and C++ and C# for software development. My primary interest is machine learning, computer vision and recognition, but are also concerned about best practices in software design.
