Stefano Fiorentino is a Professional Engineer, C++ back-end developer and system integrator. He worked as reasearch collaborator at DSP(Geo) department of the Politecnico di Milano, where he developed a novel approach to harvest turning-rays information in seismic tomography. The production software written in C++ and built on multi-core multi-node paradigm has been successfully deployed on CINECA cluster computer. In 2011, he joined Tokyo Electron Limited as Field Engineer. He worked at dutch, german, welsh and french customer sites working on Semiconductor Production Equipment SW/HW. In 2013 he joined Aresys Srl (Politecnico di Milano spin-off) as Software Analyst. He developed an interactive wellbore data processing software in Qt/C++. He managed the end-to-end scripting system and elaborated the API abstraction to call core functionalities by python command line interface for the 9th supercomputer on green500 (as Nov 2015). By early 2016 he's working as indipendent contractror for the London Stock Exchange Group (GATElab) in the capital markets tail risk monitoring as algorithm analyst and system integrator in a micro-services, real-time oriented production environment. He is passionate about automation and electronics.
