I am a computer scientist researching scalable visual exploration systems for analyzing patterns in biomedical data. I earned a PhD in computer science from Harvard University, where I was advised by Hanspeter Pfister and Nils Gehlenborg. Prior to my doctoral program, I conducted research at Harvard Medical School with Nils Gehlenborg and Peter J. Park on ontology-guided exploration of biological data repositories. I obtained a bachelor and master of science degrees in bioinformatics from the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany.
