I am currently part of the research unit "Demography and Inequality" at WZB - Berlin Social Science Center as a postdoc. Between 2014 and 2015 I was postdoc fellow at NCCR LIVES at the University of Lausanne - CH. In 2010, I got my master in Sociology at the University of Turin. In my thesis I analyzed patterns of permanence in and pathways of exit from a workfare policy measure designed for cooping with long-term unemployment in Turin. In 2011 I started my PhD in Applied Sociology and Social Research Methods at the University of Milano Bicocca, working on early career pathways and models of labor market participation in Italy. During the PhD, my research could benefit from visiting the research group "Demography and inequality" at the WZB Berlin. I earned my PhD in 2014. I am currently working on lone parenthood and its consequences on different domains of the life course. My research interests include inequality in the labour market, poverty and family dynamics, life course approach to social processes, and public policy evaluation. From a methodological point of view, I have been trained in quantitative methods, especially in sequence analysis, impact evaluation, and multilevel analysis.
