I co-founded a couple of startups in the early 'naughts, then joined Galois, Inc. and had a great dozen years there. I got the itch to teach again, so I've been writing some books, joined the board of the Saturday Academy, and was a visiting professor at Reed College from 2017-2019. Currently writing a "CS 2" book that takes students from logic design through RISC-V assembly code to Rust.
