I study political institutions, specializing in American courts. Most of my coding is related to statistical analysis for my research. R packages this has spawned that may be useful to others include:

• RcppDist: A header-only C++ library with functions for additional statistical distributions that can be called from C++ when writing code using Rcpp or RcppArmadillo (link above is to GitHub; v 0.1.1 is on CRAN)
• bggum: R tools for a Bayesian approach to estimating Generalized Graded Unfolding Model (GGUM) (Roberts, Donoghue, and Laughlin 2000) parameters (link above is to GitHub; v 1.0.2 is on CRAN)
