I was a US Army FA24 (Telecommunications Engineer) (now known as FA26A) I designed and implemented the Cisco Voice architecture for 3 internets in South and West Afghanistan amongst various other things. After getting out, I accepted a job with HCA Healthcare as a Platform engineer which involved working with linux, windows, unix, vmware, cisco nexus, checkpoint firewalls, and F5s. I later joined their Cisco Unified Communications group. I left after a year to become a UC Consultant at a Cisco Partner. Most recently, I joined a government contract to move US Army bases from TDM switches to Cisco VoIP. I am a dev with linuxserver.io
I enjoy pretty much all facets of technology though professionally, I try to stick with Cisco networking or voice products.
