Senior Data Scientist with an academic background in mathematics (MSc), bioinformatics & machine learning (PhD), and mathematical modelling (PostDoc).

I mostly code in Python both for data science (with Pandas library), for mathematical modelling, and for bioinformatics (with biopython); lately I am also making use of R because of its nice libraries for causality theory. Used to give public presentations and write grant proposals.

I became very proficient in BASH in the past, a language is much more powerful than people think (associative arrays are unknown to most of the people). I left Matlab behind in 2011.
