I have a passion for the internet, web design and development. I am a full stack developer, able to take a project from concept through design and development and then to production.

This experience bringing many projects to live has given me insights into what is expected of me when working in a team, as well as allowing me to work individually to launch new projects successfully.

I enjoy learning new skills and technologies and sharing what I have learned with others, including mentoring junior staff to build their skillsets. I work to a high personal standard, making sure that my code conforms to best practice, is optimised and free of known defects and bugs.

I have completed and launched projects in a variety of languages including Javascript, PHP and Ruby on the backend. On the frontend, I have crafted semantic well written and clean HTML and CSS, as well as enhancing the user experience with optimised and complex Javascript features including Single Page application development.

Additionally working with

• Frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, PHP Slim, NodeJS, Express, Angular, Vue, jQuery, electron and many more.
• The version control systems GIT, Subversion and Perforce.
• Building sites, themes and plugins in Wordpress and SilverStripe as well as supporting other develops on Drupal-based sites.
• Designing assets and sites in Sketch and Photoshop, as well as the now deprecated Fireworks.
• Linux servers, to deploy and secure projects in production, testing and staging using technologies such as Amazon Web Services and Docker.
