I've been writing distributed apps since 1984. Back in the day distributed meant communicating over dial-up, good times. Also known to wrangle fairly large db tables (state-wide voter files and political data) in MySQL. Used to write in FoxPro and Delphi/OPascal a lot, now mainly JS, PHP if I have to, HTML/CSS, React but by no means expert.
