I currently work for a web hosting company doing Research and Development. I have worked for many years as a Systems Administrator, and I have been coding since before BASIC got rid of line numbers.

I love automation in various forms. I live on the command line and git dashboards. I love BASH, awk, and regex. While I prefer perl for its beauty, I've certainly churned out more Python. I love parsing data, automating tasks, and finding bottlenecks. I think strace output looks beautiful. I still have much to learn, but I enjoy what I do because I enjoy learning.
