"The three chief virtues of a programmer are Laziness, Impatience and Hubris." - Larry Wall
Laziness: I'm too lazy to do the same task repeatedly, so I do write scripts to do that tasks for me. This makes me proficient and focused.
Impatience: I'm too impatient to wait for my code to run, so I'm always rewriting my code to improve performance. This gives me good results from programming.
Hubris: When someone asks if I can do something I just say "Yes", then I go find out how to do it. This makes people know they can count with me to do anything.
