Finished up university at the University of Minnesota: Twin Cities the semester before COVID-19 shut everything down. Went from working on the front lines of a busy metro hospital and ICU to working in multiple specialty clinics helping coordinate clinical trials. While medical school has been my dream, I'm definitely going to take some time off to dive into the world of what data and tech can do for the medical and clinical research fields.
I used R throughout all years of my undergraduate career and for human skeletal analysis research projects, but I subsequently expanded my knowledge to Python which quickly became my favorite programming language to work with due to its intuitive syntax, powerful data science tools, massive community involvement, and diverse user capabilities.
Currently looking to focus some attention on analyses of clinic/hospital workflow data, clinical trial data, criminal justice data, and biological anthropology data.
Learning (advanced): Python and R (focused on exploratory data analysis and data visualization)
Learning (intermediate): HTML/CSS/JS, Bootstrap
Learning (beginner): node.js
Learning Goals (not yet started): SQL, Machine Learning (supervised and unsupervised), working with unstructured data structures
