Having spent time writing for several enterprise size web applications, I have a specific interest in clean, readable code that is simple to maintain. I devote much of my time to researching best practice for my specific tasks, keeping up with the latest news in the world of software engineering, and always putting my best foot forward when developing new software.

When working with a new team, I try and promote simple and efficient processes to increase productivity and decrease bugs. In the past, I have helped implement processes such as technical designs, code reviews, and test-driven development- all of which have helped reduce technical debt and increase productivity.

In my free time, I love finding new recipes to cook, new places to eat, and new places to travel. I am a lover of pop music, video games, and good tv. I do my best to keep up with politics, be an active participant in my LGBTQ community, and be an advocate for equality and kindness.
