Tech professional with over 6 years experience in systems design, software engineering, and integration of digital information and the built environment. I specialize in integrated, user centered, testable applications with an emphasis on scale, automation and proper architecture.

Half geek half designer, my experience in both architecture and software engineering allows me to approach problems with a unique perspective and evaluate problems as a whole, rather than a sum of parts. This greatly helps me understand how constraints and goals fit together with the original problem, rather than prevent a coherent solution. Communicating ideas verbally as well as visually allowed me to help teams make decisions quicker and get everyone on the same page. I am able to clearly communicate technology heavy information with team members that do not come from a tech background, by visually representing structure, thought process and vision. Being able to quickly adjust from design vision and goals to minute details, has been one of my strength allowing me to stay on target and iterate quickly.

I enjoy projects that allow me to exercise both the user centered design principles as well as back-end system automation. I strongly believe that great applications come from recognizing projects as whole solutions and approaching design according to this principle.
