I am an Android Application Developer works on development and maintainence of applications aimed at a vast number of diverse Android devices. I have strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices and have knowledge of different versions of Android, and also know how to deal with different screen sizes. I am familiar with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

Major Responsibilities:

1.Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code.

2. Design, build, and maintain high performance, writes reusable, and reliable Java code

3. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

4. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

5. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning, and know how to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as “touch”

6. Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers

7. Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks

8. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

9. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications A knack for benchmarking and optimization

10. Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines

11. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git ,Familiarity with continuous integration
