I'm a full stack software engineer with experience primarily in Django and React.

I also have varied levels of experience in leading a team, C, C++, Python, Java, Javascript, Web2py, Bash, Linux, LaTeX, CORE, EMANE, OPNET, PostgreSQL, Elastic Search, Gitlab, Celery, pytest, HTML, CSS, OAuth2, SAML 2.0, HTTP RESTful APIs, jest, enzyme, GraphQL, MATLAB, and git.

I have a B.S. in Physics and Spanish Translation and an M.S. in Computer Science. For my graduate research as well as at my first job, I did a lot of designing and solving mathematical problems to better understand and optimize protocols for communication networks, especially wireless mesh networks. This work also entailed a lot of software development, translating the protocols into working prototypes. In 2016, I moved over into web development as my career focus.

On the side, I like to develop a few of my own apps, play disc golf, and spend time with my family.
