Dayel Ostraco is a hyperactive code monkey, insomniac, stats geek, history buff, mediocre golfer and textbook ENTP personality who started his first software company at the age of 17. He has been a polyglot Software Engineer for over 12 years and his mobile experience dates all the way back to 2007 when he helped develop mobile sites for Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He has evangelized mobile development within the Commercial, Federal and Defense space and delivered native and mobile web apps on a variety of platforms, frameworks and languages.

Dayel has been a Software Engineer and Consultant working for prestigious Fortune 500 and FTSE 250 clients around the world in a variety of sectors like Starwood Hotels, Thomson Reuters, Alterian (recently acquired by SDL), Wilson Sporting Goods and Lord Abbot. In the public sector, he has lead and developed on large-scale engineering efforts for the Department of Defense, U.S. Navy, NavAir, Space and Naval Warfare Systems (SPAWAR) and the Department of Veteran's Affairs.
