I'm a software developer from Austria, looking back at many years of developing software. I had my first non-professional contact with programming in 1998 with C++, and in 2006 I started to code professionally.
I'm very comfortable on the .NET stack, previously .NET Framework, now .NET (Core).
I love C#, but I'm also comfortable with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. Previously I also spoke ActionScript 3 and C/C++, but that was another time.
I feel at home when developing libraries, looking for a great developer experience. My personal favorites of my projects are XamlCSS, OpenTransSharp and SimpleEventSourcing.
Aside from that I like working on the backend, striving for expressive, refactor-friendly and readable code.
During the years I learned to use and appreciate many architectures, patterns and technologies like CQRS, EventSourcing, DDD, Onion Architecture, ASP.MVC, ASP.NET Core, NHibernate/Entity Framework (Core).
Currently I'm about to start blogging about my experiences and learnings - skillrefactory.com. See you there!
