Curious about everything, a scientific mind, pole vaulter and coach, mechanics enthusiast, entrepreneur, and problem solver. I started coding on a TRS-80 at age 11 and saw the potential of doing so much. I kept in touch with programming up to my master's in mechanical engineering, where I really dug in. I decided to create a self-optimizing design plus a 3D simulator of the result for Bombardier Recreateive Product (BRP) in Python (Python 3 was not a thing yet). This is when I started to be serious about coding and architecting, reading books on software design and best practices. I then ventured into a Ph.D. with the goal to create better tools for human designers (like me) who feel that the brain could handle more if information could be better presented and manipulated. Seven years of full-(over)-time coding in various languages and technologies lead to a very interesting product. I started a business with it and I am now also involved in a fair amount of entrepreneurial interessting challenges.
