I am a software engineer who started in programming in 1998 when I wanted to learn how to build web pages. I worked as a front-end developer for many years with different companies, government offices and through an 8-year period of self employment. Eventually, I picked up full-stack LAMP development when I needed to create an e-commerce application.

I took a job as a software engineer at Pluralsight in 2014 and my learning has been accelerated greatly. I believe software development is an art form and should be studied by all. I also believe that only by sharing knowledge can we all become better.

I am still on my learning journey. I am excited to learn and share as much as possible along the way.
