Sure, VS Code is the best JavaScript editor, Vim has the best key bindings, zsh is the best shell, and MacOS is the best development OS—but to each their own. On the other hand, tools like programming languages, databases, message queues, and virtual machines can only be considered superior within the context of the problem being solved, including the resources available for solving it. Even the best Swiss Army Knife is useless in a gunfight.
