Hi, I've been involved in web development for the past 12 years, creating both sites for myself as well as a number of clients. I started out developing sites using HTML in notepad, and then learned how to make them more automated using perl, php and mysql. Today I'm still developing sites using HTML and CSS in Notepad++, but I've also done a lot of work using various content management systems (Wordpress, Drupal, and a few simple ones I programmed from scratch).

Besides the technical aspects of web development, I also enjoy many of the business aspects such as online marketing, SEO, and building relationships with clients. I love teaching others how technology and the web can make their business (and life) easier. I'm a firm believer that technology can make our lives simpler (not more complex), as long as we use it with that goal in mind.
