I used to do systems programming when the code was in Pascal and Assembly, on a Mac... Anyone remember what Apple's Book 1 was? Okay that dates me. Oh yeah, learned that upstart language, C. Nowadays, since "programmer" became "Oh, you can make me a website, then?" I have taken on a few extra languages, Python (still my fav scripting lang), Perl, Java, Scala, and the obligatory JavaScript. Server-side JS (Node), Java, C#. Serious side, I work in regularly in React, Vue, native Android, some native iOS, and all mobile frameworks. I'm GCP and AWS friendly, tolerate Azure, am very experienced with Linux and too many flavors of Database (NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Mysql, and of course SQL, Redis) and, I'm a ML hobbyist. Coding is fun, period. When it pays the bills, it is a blast! :)
