This article was written over 3 years ago at this point and nothing has changed. Stack Overflow is still a toxic cesspool guarded by power tripping moderators and subject area experts that want complete control of their domain.

Perhaps the most ironic part about that article is that the person who wrote it and was in charge of that initiative left SO just a year later.
