About

I am trained as a chemist, earning my PhD from Harvard University in Inorganic Chemistry (please read a summary of my review article on metal-carbon bond formation using organoboron compounds at: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/cr1002276). For better employment opportunities, I have taught myself several scripting/markup/stylesheet languages including PHP, Javascript, CSS, and MySQL. Although I started as a backend developer focused on PHP and MySQL, I have recently become much more proficient in front end development, and have built a CSS optimizing tool called CSSBurner (https://cssburner.com) which finds errors in CSS and minifies, beautifies, and statistically analyzes inputted stylesheets - with UX language availability in both Spanish and English.

Some GitHub contributions:

My interests span the gamut, ranging from science, math, and web development (my 3 concentration areas) to economics, finance, art, politics, nutrition, and physical fitness. One thing life has taught me is that an investment in learning is not only an investment in yourself, but is also maximally beneficial to the best interests of your family. The Stack Exchange is a great forum for learning and exchanging ideas.
