I am a Ruby/Rails developer living way, way up (elev. 7800') in a tiny mountain town called Ouray (pop. 900) located in the southwest part of the Rocky Mountains. Prior to becoming a full-time Ruby dev in 2012, I spent more than a decade coding in the ColdFusion markup language (CFML).

In addition to web and mobile application development, I am an officer on our town's volunteer fire department and the girls high school basketball coach at the Ouray School.

Every now and again - like 6 times a week :) - I hit our local CrossFit gym, where I coach and train.
