I'm a Swift developer, focused primarily on iOS but I tinker in Android when I feel like frustrating myself ;-)

In a previous life I helped create and maintain a large number of RubyMotion gems like MotionKit, SugarCube, MotionWiretap, and Teacup. I also have an old love of python, and I write a lot of bash functions. These days my primary "hobby hacking" is in the microcontroller space (I use two heavily modified qmk-based keyboards; Colemak, sticky modifiers, encrypted macros).

I'm the Head of Mobile at Ello, I was hired on to help create the iOS app (which we did in record time- ~5 months) but recently I took on the creation of our native Android app, using the "single activity" paradigm and a custom built controller framework and backstack (inspired heavily by my experience in iOS, and really designed to allow us to port from Swift to Kotlin painlessly). We even have our own navigation controllers with custom animations (we wanted the "Ello look and feel" to be consistent across platforms).
