In the 70s, I learned a little BASIC.
In the 80s, I learned a little digital logic.
In the 90s, a little C/C++, perl, HTML, PHP.
At the start of the 00s, I started maintaining some classic ASP pages that talked to Oracle as part of my job and then coding my own stuff. When .NET happened, we started doing that and I've been picking up VB.NET ever since.
In the 10s, I've dabbled with Python a bit.
It's funny that I can be so "behind" a lot of you and still be an accomplished, professional programmer.
