I'm an Architect at Microsoft working (remotely, from Germany) on Microsoft Azure, specifically on protocols and foundational infrastructure for the Service Bus and Events Hubs. Before helping to take these services from incubation to commercial release, I've worked on modeling and on the Windows Communication Foundation. Before joining Microsoft 10 years ago, I ran my own company with two partners, doing .NET consulting and training. I'm also the original author of one of the earliest ASP.NET open source blog engines, dasBlog. Some folks may know me from a range of speaking engagements I've done around the world, before and while at Microsoft.
