I started my career as a commercial apprentice at Landis & Gyr (now Siemens) in Zug, already then specializing on IT. After that, military service and two language stays in the French speaking part of Switzerland and in England I worked for 3 years as a junior scripter for the ERP system OpaccOne (now OpaccERP). Then I changed internally into the developing department, writing user interfaces with Java. After some travelling I came back as a senior scripter for another year. I then emigrated to Kenya, later came back and started as .NET developer (VB.NET, C# and JScript.NET) at Inserto AG (later Steffen Informatik Enterprise Solutions AG, now part of Bechtle Steffen Schweiz AG), where I stayed for more than 11 years, writing full-stack standard and individual software for major customers like insurances, banks, retailers etc. Then I was working for a hospital where I was scripting, customizing, performance tuning and developing integrated custom applications for the hospital information system (the database system where all the medical case documentations of all patients is stored).
