I graduated 2003 in English with a heavy focus on theory/philosophy. Then gained MPA in 2007 and have been working with Data/Models since then in higher education, healthcare, oil and gas, and now banking & financial services. I have worked in permanent roles - but the bulk of my career has been in consulting or freelance contracting.

The tools I've used were initially Excel, MS Access, VBA, SQL - then a shift to using SAS for 4-5yrs. More recently I've been using Python and Spark on various financial product profitability modelling projects. Love Stack Overflow - and keen to use/contribute more to the SO knowledge-base and community.
