My name is Caolán Gadd and I am an Irish student studying Games Design & Development - BSc (Honors) in LIT Thurles. I am passionate about reading, writing, creating games, characters and stories. I thoroughly enjoy creating projects such as full-stack web applications or unique software using a plethora of different programming, scripting and markup languages and concepts.

I am currently in my third year and have experience with a broad range of topics. I am familiar with programming languages such as Java, C++ and JavaScript as well as many important related concepts i.e Structural Programming, Object Orientated Programming, Software Testing, Project Management etc.

I have experience with creating websites/wepages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I also have experience with frameworks such as MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js - (MERN Development) and creating full-stack web-applications using said framework. I am familiar with the use of Git and GitHub for project management and version control.

Finally I have some experience with using technology such as Unity3D, C-Sharp, and Blender to create game assets and environments. Topics include Modeling, UV Unwrapping, Texturing, Rigging, Animation, Scripting etc.

I wish to learn much more and continue to progress my skills as a developer and am focused on creating many unique and amazing projects.
