I own Method R Corporation, a company dedicated to optimizing software performance, predominantly on Oracle-based application systems. In the 1980s and early 1990s I was a compiler designer who wrote a lot of yacc, lex, and C. I've written a lot of Perl code, and I maintain a large XSLT application. I spend a lot of my time writing, using Adobe InDesign.
