Carlos Cruz works as a Solution Analyst for the Advisory practice at EY Peru offices (Lima headquarters) and has more than 8 years of experience in the software development industry. He is a fullstack analyst anddeveloper at the Lima Technology Studio of EY Peru for the development of applications and business solutions (no SAP) both traditional and reactive under different types of architecture, from monolithic or multi- layer architecture to native or hybrid cloud architecture.
Carlos is currently developing single web applications (SPA) taking advantages of the technologies such as Angular framework, NodeJs, Node Package Manager (NPM), Typescript in order to improve and digitalize processes so that coworkers can generate maximum performance in the operations of other practices in the firm.
Carlos has specialized in the implementation of applications and solutions using the Microsoft .Net Framework and .Net Core for the implementation of web applications, using different Microsoft products and Open Source technologies. He has participated as developer and analyst implementing distributed solutions for on-premise and cloud environments, specially Azure.
He has participated as an analyst in projects of reengineering and redesign of legacy applications, data centralization, implementation of web applications for internal use at a government organization, as well as the creation of components or integration services (web services & Rest APIs) that allow the orchestration and sending of information in a secure way between different subsystems, whether internal (ERP or legacy systems) or external (external or government entities).
He has experience in government, terminal operating, banking and telecommunications sectors, as member of development teams. He has also participated in projects using engineering practices such as DevOps and the creation of CI / CD pipelines for the industrialization of the software development life cycle through the use of Microsoft DevOps, Microsoft Azure and open-source tools.
