I've been writing in C for almost 30 years and C++ for over 20. I am currently working in C++, C# and Python. I have extensive experience in COM and ATL have extensive Windows middleware and backend systems experience in addition to having done some Unix and Mac OS/X development.

I practice 'literate code' and believe all developers should too. I am amused that most modern software abjures comments and meaningful documentation and regret that many of my peers consider their first draft to be a finished product. Good code, like literature, should be a pleasure to read with many interesting nuggets learned on each reading.
