Master degree in industrial engineering.
Started programming, when I was about 11 years old. I managed to base my career on my hobby and became a professional Java developer in 2007, (also a Certified Oracle Java Professional).
I mostly work for Belgian companies in food industry. I've worked on a couple of ambitious projects for Belgium's biggest telecom company, mostly to track their inventory. I've also helped out a dozen of companies writing java drivers for their industrial machines (in various exotic TCP protocols). Also a lot of experience in food industry. For that reason, I actually always keep an eye open for potential customers in food industry, trying to further expand my knowledge of that sector.
In 2016 discovered Angular 2. Shortly after I started doing some React, Redux and Node.js and NestJS. These days I'm a freelance Node.js and Angular developer (at DeepZ), occasionally giving training as well.
When I am not programming, I used to play the Japanese/Korean/Chinese boardgame Go. I reached a 2 dan amateur level. And I played some international tournaments, such as the Korea Prime Minister Cup in 2014 and 2018 and The World Mind Sport Games. These days, I spend most of my free time on ZBaduk which is a cloud-computing company which I founded a couple of years ago. The company offers an online platform to use DCNN neural networks to calculate and predict winrates for boardgames.
I work as a freelancer: [email protected]
